Welcome to summer…
a time when:
“working for the weekend” takes on new meaning
you ignore the gritty taste of sand in your sandwich, cause you’re happy to be at the beach
the subway system becomes a free, public sauna
a large percentage of your paycheck is lost at happy hour
socks hibernate
and most importantly, great new music seems to surface and get stuck in your head.
So my friends, I present a gift: a rare recording of a freestyle jam from a band named GG. If you have yet to catch GG’s recent Behind the Music episode, let me fill you in. They are a pop, hip-hop, folk acoustic duo that briefly ignited the Philadelphia music scene in the spring of 2006.
